Filming triumph for local Young Deaf BSL pupils

Local young Deaf pupils of Deansfield High School successfully produce their very own Deaf school history film documentary and gained an insight in just how different schooling for Deaf people from generation to generation has been.

Zebra-Uno’s media team, alongside Bantock House and Deansfield High School, gather together several local Deaf people from around Wolverhampton, who were then interviewed by young Deaf BSL pupils about their schooling experiences. From boarding school to mainstream, oral to sign language, the use of the cane to detentions, Deaf pupils enjoyed the unique experience of history learning within their own community and how to handle and use filming equipment. A filming triumph!
