Nikki, Marilyn and the rest of Zebra staff wish you an enjoyable bonfire night, remember your safety! 

It has been one year since Zebra Uno hosted a charity event for Claire Lynch who has a rare metabolic disorder (Mitochondrial Disease).  A lot has been happening since the event for Claire and her family, including articles in local newspapers such as Express and Star and The Chronicles.  After the articles were published one kind gentleman was happy enough to offer his villa in Florida for the family to stay in.  Zebra Uno have continued to support the family in booking the trip  and ‘make dreams come true’ special the dolphin event. We wish Claire and her family an enjoyable holiday and hope they enjoy themselves.

Zebra Uno and Deaffest are pleased to announce that the Ben Steiner Bursary is available once again! This year Deaffest are giving Deaf media practitioners another opportunity to produce a film to be premiered exclusively in 2013.  The Ben Steiner Film Bursary will provide a gateway for Deaf Filmmakers who already have some experience to take a further step forward and have their work seen by the wider media community.

Applications for the Ben Steiner Film Bursary are now open and the deadline for applications is Tuesday 10th January 2012.

Submissions for Deaffest 2012 are now open! Deaffest are calling for submissions for the upcoming festival. You can download the submission form from the website and start sending in your films! The deadline for all submissions is Monday 19th March 2012.

August has been quiet in the office with staff going on their jolly holidays! Let’s hope they re-boost their energy levels ready for a fun packed and busy few months leading up to Christmas.

Congratulations to one of our staff, Vicki Frost, who gave birth to her second child… A bouncing baby boy! We wish her all the best through those sleepless nights!

Marilyn Bueno Del Carpio, Director of Zebra Uno Ltd and director of the film, ‘Gone with the Time’, is proud to announce that her film that has been submitted into Reims Film Festival in France and has been shortlisted!
